⤷ The BETA team is made up of experts

**BETA is unified software, made specifically for climbing gyms.**

The BETA team is made up of experts in software and design. But more importantly, it’s made up of climbers (and we mean full-on addicts—we start to shake after the second rest day). We are an international team but we meet regularly in meeting spaces, gyms, crags, and Tunisian restaurants.

Our team is like world cup climbers: tiny but strong! Whether at the top of Céüse, along the sea cliffs of Malta, or on the historic walls of Buoux, work from anywhere.

⤷ Traits, who is the right person?

👋 Hello!

You are passionate, enthusiastic and constantly seeking to solve problems. You have an interest in software. You don't see problems, you see solutions. The BETA team is fully remote, so you can manage your hours, and are dependable. You can switch between working independently and as a part of the team.

You speak and write English fluently – it's the working language at BETA – and you are especially comfortable writing in English.

psst You don't have to be mad about climbing (it helps a bit, though).

⤷ Duties

The Operations Specialist role offers the freedom of remote work and flexible hours, catering to individuals with an eye for detail and a passion for the climbing community.

While you do not need to be a spreadsheet pro, a chunky .csv should not phase you. We'll provide guidance and support along the way, including some hands-on training. We run smart and powerful internal software, and are a software company so computer skills are key. While experience in graphic design or software development is appreciated, it's not mandatory.

› The Onboarding Process.

Onboard climbing gyms by directly communicating with facilities worldwide.

› Customer Triage.

Sprinkle your magic in customer service and care, ensuring our clients feel the love and attention they deserve. Be the first line of communication with clients. Answer requests when possible, collect necessary information for technical team to answer when not.

› Product Specialist.

Bridge the gap between our users and our internal Product and Dev teams. By deeply understanding the product and the user experience—particularly through onboarding & support—you will provide valuable insights that help shape the direction of BETA.

› Help documentation.

Maintain attention to detail in all aspects of work, ensuring high-quality service delivery.

› Marketing.

› Attend Conferences.

We usually like to send various people of the team to conferences, to get the full experience, meeting existing clients and to understand the industry!
