<aside> 💡 To edit a discount, you can rename it to fix errors or reuse the discount value. Make sure the discount name is unique, and the code only includes letters, numbers, or a dash (-).

Discount Code Guidelines

For a discount code to work at checkout on your widgets: A limit of 10 characters, use only letters, numbers, and a dash (-). Avoid special characters like !%@£$%^&*"'()_[]{}.

If you wish to rename a discount, follow this page Edit a Discount

No Duplicate Discount Names

Ensure that each discount code has a unique name. The system does not allow duplicate discount names, as this would cause conflicts when applying the code.

Note, discount values may not be edited as this will alter historical transactions that are linked to that discount. Therefore you would need to create a new discount.
