💡 This feature controls when the client will get billed next for their subscription, therefore, extending the validity of their pass. Adjusting the billing date for a pass that is linked to a subscription requires navigating to the Subscription Details
tab. You can chose to extend the billing cycle by increments (1,2,3…) or by selecting the next billing date.
For pro-rated subscriptions
, the billing day may only be extended in the increments depending on your pro-rated pass. E.g. a one-month prorated pass can only be adjusted in increments of days depending on the month.
In this e.g. we will be extending the billing cycle of a 1 year subscription. As explained above, this could only be extended in 1 month increments.

<aside> ⚠️ GoCardless and prorated subscriptions can only be paused or extended on a monthly basis. This is a limit of the payment provider.

<aside> 🙌🏻 Usage Scenarios For e.g. This might be useful for visitors that have planned an extended break away and won't be able to utilise their membership for a specific period. Extending the billing cycle lets you pause charges during their absence, ensuring they only pay for the time they actively use the gym.
